Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
Two week block plus blended learning.
This qualification gives the underpinning knowledge for electrical work in domestic, commercial and industrial installations.
This "block plus blended learning" version of the course (mainly for mature students) runs over a two-week period and is designed for candidates who have completed Level 2.
Candidates are expected to study at home after attending the Centre for the two units on Inspection & testing plus commissioning & fault-finding.
This course has no requirement to attend in the evenings weekly. You will complete the practical work and assessments by attending the two-week block during the year with all your studying done at home.
We are also offering the Level 3 course as a solid seven-week block which also includes the 18th Edition course. The cost is £3150.00 plus VAT
Course materials are accessible from workbooks provided and via the internet.
You will have access to the City & Guilds website for materials and practice exams.
Level 3
Health and Safety in building services engineering. (this may have been completed at Level 2 2365)
Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems. (Self - study, with one online exam)
Principles of electrical science (written exam and small practical assessment}.
Electrical Installations : Inspection, Testing and Commissioning (on-line exam and practical assessment).
Electrical Installations : Fault Diagnosis and Rectification (on-line exam and practical assessment).
Electrical systems design (on-line exam plus project).
Career awareness in building services engineering (written exam plus assignment).
These assessments are taken after each module when the candidate is ready.
Course details
Duration: Practical two weeks, then home study.
Day and time of course: Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
Final registration date: Two weeks before the start of the course.

£2250 + VAT = £2700
