City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 combined Award in Inspection and Testing.
This qualification is a requirement for approved electrical installation contractors who wish to be qualified for all aspects of inspection and testing.
The course focuses on carrying out initial verifications and Periodic Inspections and completing Electrical Installation Certificates and Condition Reports.
The course is delivered as a five day block, only for those who are conversant with inspection and testing procedures.
The duration of the course is 40 hours and the delivery of the course may be tailored to meet the clients' requirements.
Aimed at engineers and electricians involved in the periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems, the course is designed to familiarise them with the latest version of Guidance Note Three and practical methods of testing.
Candidates are required to sit an on-screen, open book examination based upon Guidance note 3. This is sat in the following week.
C&G candidates will also sit classroom assessment during the course.
There is also a final practical assessment of two and a half hours duration with a qualified assessor.
The costs include practical assessments and examination entry fees.
