City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment

Level 3 NVQ Diploma for those wishing to become fully qualified electricians, completed via an electronic portfolio of on-site evidence with guidance from a Qualified Assessor.

Overview

This is a requirement for those wishing to become fully qualified electricians. The NVQ Level 3 is based upon performance Units which consist of doing a work on site from start to finish. An electronic portfolio of evidence is gathered with the help and guidance from a Qualified Assessor from the Centre. Evidence is needed to satisfy levels of competence in a variety of site activities. An initial induction session at the Centre will start you on your way, and then regular Portfolio Reviews will make sure that you are on track. You will also need to undertake a minimum of two successful onsite reviews. Please Note: This qualification is withdrawn from October and a replacement will come into effect. Enrollment is still being taken on this course up to that date.

Entry requirements

The learner must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent. You must be working on site, under supervision to collect evidence against your portfolio.
