You may also be eligible to undertake the experienced worker route NVQ and details of this course are here. However, before you do, we like to see our candidates succeed so you will need to ensure you are fully prepared.
Head over to the NET website
First off we recommend you head over to the NET website. This is the only website which provides definitive advice on the AM2 series of assessments. Click here. Make sure you:
- Download the Readiness for Assessment Checklist which details everything you'll need to do and ensure you're confident in each area before you take the assessment.
- Download the Pre-Assessment Manual for more help on how to prepare.
- Watch the Top Tip Videos for hints and advice on each section of the assessment.
Sparky Ninja inspection & testing app
The NET have also developed in conjunction with renowned industry figure Sparky Ninja, an app for your smart devices allowing you to cover some key aspects of inspection and testing. The filming was carried out onsite at our facilities and the Megger testers are the same provided to our AM2 candidates.
